Driving the uptake of health, well being and productivity in Asia Pacific
Across Asia Pacific there are serious issues of congestion. People are often cramped into small living and working spaces, built with low cost in mind, and which overlook the negative effects that these badly constructed buildings have on the people who occupy them. As prices per square meter soar there is even less quality space for those with lower incomes. Furthermore, the increasing problem of air quality in many major Asian cities heightens the importance of improved indoor air quality.
Having a healthy home or workplace can have a huge impact on a person’s health and well being. Our Asia Pacific Regional Network of Green Building Councils is engaging closely in WorldGBC’s Better Places for People campaign in order to raise awareness of the importance of healthy green buildings for people and the economy.
