About

Jahangir S.M. Khan served as the previous President of ARCASIA Architects Regional Council Asia consisting of 21 countries of Asia for two years 2017-2018. He served as President IAP Institute of Architects Pakistan for three years prior to this. During this time he has organised and been part of numerous International Conferences, Trainings and International Roundtables on Green and Sustainability, Architectural Education, Social Responsibility, Practise, Adaptive Reuse of Heritage Buildings, Post Disaster Reconstruction and Urbanism under the ARCASIA banner in various Cities all over Asia as well as in Budapest, Prague, Rome and Cairo. 

Jahangir Khan has been conferred Honorary Membership of AIA The American Institute of Architects as well as an Honorary Membership of The Australian Institute of Architects. He has been recognised as a FELLOW of IAP Institute of Architects Pakistan as well as a FELLOW of PIID Pakistan Institute of Interior Design.

He has received Presidential Medals in 2017 from both AIA The American Institute of Architects and RIBA The Royal Institute of British Architects. He was also honored by The Society of Egyptian Architects with their 100 Years Gold Medal in 2019.

He holds a Professional Bachelors Degree in Architecture from IIT in Chicago USA and a Professional Masters Degree in City & Regional Planning from IIT in Chicago USA. He practices professionally based in Islamabad Pakistan for the last 31 years from his Professional Practice is called "CITE' Architecture Planning & Design Group".
