Cherie Nursalim is Vice Chairman of Giti Group, a diversified group with real estate development, manufacturing and consumer lifestyle presence partnering with world ‐ renowned brands throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Ms Nursalim is Vice Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce the world's largest business Organization representing 45 million businesses and is founding board of ICC Academy and ICC Research board. She also serves on the board of Publicis group in France, the Business and Sustainable Development Commission global Blended Finance Taskforce and the Women’s World Banking Southeast Asia Advisory Council.

She chairs the United Nations global initiative Sustainable Development Solutions Network Southeast Asia and Tsinghua University Southeast Asia with centres to be based in Kura Kura Bali. She serves on the Asia and International Advisory Boards for MIT Sloan School of Management and Columbia University respectively. She serves on the China Disabled Persons Foundation Board, and is among the founding members of Global Philanthropic Circle in Synergos New York. She also serves as the board member of the Singapore Science Center, University of Indonesia Research Centre for Climate Change, the World Green Building Council. Ms Nursalim is the co‐founder of the United in Diversity Foundation. She joined the Friends of the Oceans global initiative.

Cherie Nursalim is a recipient of Ministry of National Development award from the Singapore government and Baiyulan Award from the Shanghai government. Ms Nursalim initiated initiatives for HIV AIDS awareness in Indonesia for GT organization which won awards from Indonesian government UNAIDS and International Labor Organization. A new Orchid species of Dendrobium was named after her as founding board member of the iconic ‘Gardens by the Bay’ in Singapore. She was featured among Forbes’ 48 heroes of philanthropy.

Ms Nursalim co‐founded the Tri Hita Karana Forum that during IMF World Bank Annual Meetings in Bali with the Government of Indonesia patronage initiated “Blended Finance and Innovation for Better Business Better World” with ICC, UNSDSN, WEF, OECD and global partners mobilizing billions of dollars for SDGs. She received her Bachelor in Engineering Science and Economics from Oxford University, her Masters in Business Administration from Columbia Business School and is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader alumni at Harvard Kennedy School. Cherie Nursalim earlier worked as a research associate at the Harvard Business School. She published an award‐winning book on the late American‐Chinese Architect IM Pei, and was among the co‐authors of a book ‘Indonesia Matters’ published by the World Economic Forum.

Cherie Nursalim joined the WorldGBC Board of Directors in 2019 and she has been nominated by Taiwan Green Building Council.
