A Civil Engineer with 24 years’ experience in the South African built environment industry and across the African continent, Nkosinathi Manzana is currently the Executive Head of Group Real Estate Services: Commercial Buildings for the Standard Bank Group; a leading financial services organisation in Africa and the biggest bank in South Africa by assets and geography.
He oversees the entire value chain of a portfolio of 35 properties in South Africa and the development of strategic properties in the 20 other countries on the African continent where Standard Bank is present.
Nkosinathi always seeks to infuse sustainability principles throughout his sphere of control and influence, and does this through his leadership responsibilities in location assessment, feasibility, leasing, development, facilities management, engineering, maintenance and energy, asset and property management and disposal of the property assets.
Before joining Standard Bank in 2011, Nkosinathi held an Executive Management position of Chief Operating Officer at the Johannesburg Development Agency (JDA). He held responsibility for the design and implementation of all JDA development programmes, then valued at $604 million.
Nkosinathi Manzana joined the WorldGBC Board of Directors in 2019 and he has been nominated by Green Building Council South Africa.
