Norwegian Green Building Council
Katharina Bramslev is the CEO of Norwegian Green Building Council. Her background is in civil engineering and she has been working in the building sector for 30 years.
She established Norwegian Green Building Council in 2002 along with 12 real estate companies. Now they have 300 members and 15 employees. She loves to inspire and help members to develop sustainable buildings and cities.
Norwegian Green Building Council is currently focusing on net zero carbon emission including embodied energy, circular economy and quality of life in city spaces.
Katharina is excited about the fast growing focus on sustainability from the finance sector, especially with a focus on green buildings. She believes the finance sector will be the most important change maker in the green shift because "Money Talks".
Katharina's passion is to inspire and motivate decision makers to work sustainably by showing them that this is technically possible, profitable and fun!
