Friday 27th September 2019

Join the World Green Building Council, Urban Green Council and Canadian Consulate in New York at a Climate Week NYC event exploring the opportunities for businesses and governments in the zero carbon emissions economy of the future.

Buildings represent 70 percent of carbon emissions in big cities and are a critical solution to the climate emergency facing us. New construction, existing building stock and embodied emissions from materials and construction must all be addressed in order to achieve a fully decarbonised built environment.

Achieving global climate targets requires local solutions. Hear from leading experts about the opportunities this challenge presents, including incorporating innovative approaches, adapting business models and developing new policy mechanisms.
