Cities to Be - 8th International Congress on Sustainable Construction

Organised by the Alliance HQE-GBC France and Novabuild, Cities to Be, the 8th International Sustainable Building Congress, aims to be the Congress of Engagement, Solutions and Action. It will provide an opportunity to discover feedback from the field in France and abroad, learn about innovative projects, share experiences, share good practices and high-performance solutions, mobilize the dynamics of stakeholders and promote French, European and international know-how. As such, this event aims to simplify the voluntary engagement of stakeholders throughout the construction, development and real estate value chain.

1000 participants are expected for this interprofessional congress, including 300 international, 300 national and 400 regional participants. All actors in the building, real estate, development, infrastructure and local authorities - project owners, architects, operators, construction companies, industrialists and suppliers, manufacturers, design offices, urban planners, banks, investors, real estate, trustees and institutions - including WorldGBC, ADEME, Global ABC, DENA - will be able to benefit from a rich and varied programme, around the following 12 themes: Environmental performance and carbon neutrality, Circular economy, Renovation and management of buildings, New models: green value and finance, Health and comfort, Engaging stakeholders, Mobility and infrastructures, Construction site, Resilience, Positive and autonomous territory, Prospects for 2030-2050 and Hot climate.

In total, there will be nearly 60 hours of content in various formats:

  • 3 plenary sessions
  • Nearly 50 workshops
  • 8 site visits: worksites or projects near Angers
  • 27 pitch-solutions: offering the possibility for manufacturers and project leaders to present their solutions

Or 9 project reviews, round tables and thematic paths but also networking spaces and 1 TV set.
