Green Building Councils have shared interests and encounter similar challenges and opportunities, and our global projects and partnerships enable them to connect and collaborate so they can achieve results faster and more effectively. In a world where businesses increasingly operate globally, collaboration by Green Building Councils also helps the building sector deliver more green buildings around the world.

WorldGBC is a delivery partner for the BEA, and four of its Green Building Councils are providing valuable technical advice.

The Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction (GABC) was launched at COP21 by the French Government and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).

Set to launch in late 2019, WorldGBC's interactive digital map-based case study library will be a centralised forum displaying the most cutting edge examples of sustainable building worldwide.

This UN programme, on which WorldGBC is a partner, aims to foster a mutual understanding of sustainable buildings among relevant stakeholders.

WorldGBC offers expertise and research from the building and construction industry to the Climate and Clean Air Coalition which is committed to improving air quality and protecting the climate through actions to reduce short-lived climate pollutants.

WorldGBC is a partner in the Zero Carbon Buildings for All initiative, which aims to leverage the leadership of government, industry and civil society to secure commitments to ambitious targets to decarbonise the building sector to achieve massive CO2 reductions.
