Health & Wellbeing Framework - Launch Event Speakers
Introducing WorldGBC's Health & Wellbeing Framework — a set of comprehensive global guidelines for driving healthy and equitable buildings for everyone, everywhere
Developed in partnership with the Better Places for People global project Steering Committee and members of our global network, WorldGBC's new framework aims to transform the meaning of health and wellbeing for the sustainable building movement and wider sector.
The WorldGBC Health & Wellbeing Framework is a high-level educational resource, structured across six core principles for health and wellbeing in the built environment. The result of an international consultation with experts across multiple sectors, the Framework will be continuously updated with the latest evidence and will catalyse the uptake of sustainable buildings for everyone, everywhere.
The Framework launches 4 November, 12:00 -16:00 GMT, with a free, online event discussing the benefits and challenges of embracing healthier and more equitable buildings.
Cristina Gamboa, CEO, World Green Building Council
Health and wellbeing is a fundamental human right and a concept that relates to all people. Consequently, our principles of our Health and Wellbeing Framework cover all stages of the building and construction lifecycle and broad socio-economic and environmental determinants of health. We are proud to champion this ambitious leadership for the sector through our global network.
