Venezuela
Green Building Council
Introduction
The Venezuelan Council of Sustainable Construction (CVCS) seeks to become the central organisation in the field of sustainability within Venezuela; promoting, disseminating and evaluating sustainable project initiatives between members and stakeholders to benefit the sector and country.
The CVCS is made up of a team of professionals from different sectors: academic, urban planning and management, architecture, engineering and construction, operation and maintenance, real estate and technology. Their aim is to promote the transformation of traditional construction in Venezuela towards a sustainable, efficient model with a positive impact on the present community and generations to come.
