Business Case Report Now Available in Chinese and Spanish

Our comprehensive report on the business case for green building has now been released in Chinese and Spanish translations.

The Business Case for Green Building: A Review of the Costs and Benefits for Developers, Investors and Occupants highlights the compelling benefits and outlines how to seize the opportunities offered by green buildings.

“This report synthesises all credible evidence from around the world to help people in the property and construction industry in China and Latin American to make informed decisions about green building,” says Jane Henley, CEO of the WorldGBC.

The translations were undertaken by the China Green Building Council and the Chile Green Building Council, who gave their time and resources to bring this report to their regions.

The report, which has already received considerable attention in Europe, North America, South East Asia and the Middle East, and which has been downloaded more than 10,000 times, finds that green buildings are being delivered at a price comparable to conventional buildings, and investments can be recouped through operational cost savings and, with the right design features, create a more productive workplace.

This report was produced in partnership with PRP Environmental along with the following sponsors: Skanska, Grosvenor, and the Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council/Estidama.
