Our Renovation Strategy Framework

The EPBD requires that all renovation strategies contain milestones and measurable progress indicators.  BUILD UPON2 will develop and pilot a ‘multi-level renovation impact framework’ containing a suite of milestones and measurable progress indicators for city renovation strategies including: emissions reductions, increased employment and improved health. By capturing data at a local level, the framework will link renovation to policy and decision making processes at a national level, driving greater investment in city regeneration programmes.

Work on the impact framework has just started, but you can see our v1.0 from 2017 here. This inspired the EPBD request for milestones, and informed the European Commission’s recent EPBD implementation guidance on what renovation strategy milestones and indicators might look like (see Section 2.3.2.).
