Call for case studies: WorldGBC’s groundbreaking Beyond the Business Case Report

We invite our global network and wider industry to send us your case studies of sustainable buildings and developments to feature in the World Green Building Council’s (WorldGBC) flagship publication, Beyond the Business Case Report.

Beyond the Business Case Report

The report will be launched at the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP26 in November 2021, and will provide a cutting-edge narrative of current and future value propositions for the global real estate sector to drive investment in a sustainable built environment.

Within the report, case studies will be used to illustrate the implementation of sustainability strategies from actors across the value chain, demonstrating a business case for the sector, across a range of geographies, typologies and stakeholders.

Case studies can be economic, environmental or socially focused. We are looking for built environment case studies — buildings, developments, communities — of all typologies and across all geographies, that demonstrate a narrative, justification or return on investment for sustainable development.

Submit your case study

You can submit your case study online and the deadline is 31 August 2021.

Full submission guidelines can be viewed here. All case studies submitted will also have the opportunity to be put forward for WorldGBC’s Case Study Library, allowing us to publish many more examples of innovation and excellence in the built environment sector.

Cristina Gamboa, CEO of the World Green Building Council:

“This year is unique because the world will be looking to COP26 like never before. COP26 will be a global stage to demonstrate the incredible sustainability strategies from our members and partners to bring the decarbonisation of the built environment to the top of the agenda. This report will show that investment in sustainable built assets is a powerful return on investment — as well as the right thing to do.

“We invite you to share your examples and join us leading the way for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”
