The World Green Building Council is pleased to announce that El Salvador Green Building Council and Paraguay Green Building Council have progressed to Emerging GBC status within the WorldGBC membership tier. Both members of WorldGBC’s Americas Regional Network, their progressions come in light of their demonstrated efforts to lead the industry, educate the market and act as the primary source of information and collective action in sustainable building in their respective countries.
Juanita Alvarez, Head of WorldGBC’s Americas Regional Network, said:
“I’m delighted to welcome both El Salvador Green Building Council and Paraguay Green Building Council on to the next stage of membership. This progression signifies the excellent work that’s happening in growing the local market for green buildings in El Salvador and Paraguay.
We now have three Emerging Green Building Councils in the Americas network, helping us boost opportunities to create industry-wide impact across Latin America, and ultimately reach our goal of green buildings for everyone everywhere.”
