The World Green Building Council (WorldGBC) Americas Regional Network welcomes the Basel Agency for Sustainable Energy (BASE) as new partner.
BASE uses a unique combination of expertise to unlock investment in sustainable energy to meet the challenge of climate change. They develop innovative ideas and tailored market-driven solutions for public and private organisations. As a partner to the WorldGBC Americas Regional Network, BASE will be working with the local Green Building Councils to mainstream a Cooling as a Service (CaaS) business. CaaS is an initiative lead by BASE along with the Kigali Cooling Efficiency Program (K-CEP) that overcomes key market and financial barriers to increase and accelerate the adoption of energy efficient cooling technologies and the use of climate-friendly refrigerants gases.
