The World Green Building Council’s (WorldGBC) Annual Report for 2018/19 outlines the major achievements of the organisation and our global network of Green Building Councils (GBCs). Our incredible movement of almost 70 GBCs, 900 employees and over 36,000 members allows us to connect and influence key decision makers all around the world.

In 2019, WorldGBC’s global and regional projects and campaigns, as well as its CEO and regional networks, continued to deliver stronger, more targeted and coordinated action in response to the climate emergency. Science and data have unequivocally set out the role and potential of the building and construction sector to support the transition to net zero.

As a global network, WorldGBC is uniquely positioned to scale up all the necessary solutions to transform the built environment across the world, towards building a better future.
