Together with the UN High Level Climate Champions, Egyptian government and #BuildingToCOP27 Coalition, WorldGBC is honoured to be once again representing leadership in the built environment at COP27, Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.

As part of the Building to COP Coalition, we will be advocating that businesses and governments prioritise advancing action to elevate the built environment as a critical sector to achieve the needed transition to a resilient and zero emissions future.

About the Building to COP Coalition

The Building to COP Coalition is a group of sustainability-focused built environment NGOs and organisations working together, alongside the UN High Level Climate Champions, to position the built environment as a critical sector to achieve the needed transition to a resilient and zero emissions future at COP conferences.

The #BuildingToCOP campaign began with the formation of the Coalition in 2021 for COP26 and we are working together for COP27 (6 – 18 Nov 2022), COP28 and beyond.
