Ibrahim Kronfol is a Board Member at the Lebanon Green Building Council and the elected Vice Chair of the WorldGBC MENA Regional Network. With over 20 years at DAR, he is a Mechanical Engineer serving as a Project Manager, High-Performance Design expert, and sustainability specialist. He has led the delivery of sustainable engineering solutions for a wide range of complex, high-profile projects across the MENA region.

A LEED Fellow since 2020, Ibrahim is recognised for advancing sustainable design practices and promoting environmental awareness, particularly among youth. He chaired the LEED Water Efficiency Technical Advisory Group (2019–2023) and served on both the LEED Steering Committee and the LEED Technical Committee. He also serves as Secretary of the Board at the AEE Lebanon Chapter and remains an active contributor to ASHRAE and SAVE International.

He is the founder of the Green Leaders NGO, advancing regional climate action through research, education, and community engagement.
