Mr LIM Yew Meng is the Executive Director in AGC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, which operates as the regional headquarters of AGC Inc in the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to his current appointment, Yew Meng held the position of General Manager of the AGC Solar Business Unit in China that oversees AGC various solar businesses and products development.
Upon his return to Singapore in 2013, Yew Meng has worked predominantly with Green Building councils in the Asia-Pacific region. These activities include contributing at the Annual Green Building Congress, assisting with green building products certification, green school initiatives including student design/Green Mark competition and the formulation of Embodied Carbon Primer, Net Zero Readiness Framework under World GBC Advancing Net Zero project.
Yew Meng is a mechanical engineer by trade and a business leader by design, having graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, completed a Mater of Business Administration and Singapore Business Leader Program. He is a proponent of life-long learning, having completed the Green Mark Managers Certification organised by the Building Construction Authority, Singapore and Integrated Carbon Footprint Assessment Methodology by The Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology.
