1. Commit

Commit to owning, operating, occupying and developing new and existing buildings to operate at net zero carbon by 2030.

2. Disclose

Disclose energy consumption, water, waste and scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon emissions in yearly Sustainability Accounts.

3. Act

Develop and implement a decarbonisation roadmap. This will include plans to improve energy efficiency, renewable energy production and energy recovery in all assets.

4. Verify

Verify portfolio level data relating to improvements in energy efficiency, renewable energy production and emissions through a third party in publicly available sustainability accounts. Pursue asset level green building certifications across portfolio.

5. Advocate

Raise awareness to visitors, tenants and other stakeholders by communicating sustainability actions both in Citycon centres and in corporate communications. Support tenants in making energy-wise decisions and collaborate with all business partners to achieve net zero by 2030.
