Commit all assets under direct control to reduce and (where necessary) compensate for all operational carbon emissions by 2030. Achieve maximum reductions of embodied carbon in new developments and major renovations, and compensate for any remaining residual upfront embodied emissions, by 2030, as appropriate.
Measure and publicly disclose annual energy consumption and whole life carbon emissions data where applicable.
Maintain EVORA’s carbon management strategy to proactively reduce demand and decarbonise portfolio via procurement of renewable energy, where possible, and use of offsets as a last resort. Implement embodied carbon reductions if applicable.
Verify energy consumption and carbon emissions asset and portfolio level data via an independent third party in line with recognised best practice third-party standards.
Continue to advocate for industry change and challenge traditional approaches to demonstrate both the necessity and business case for ensuring climate and ESG related risks are systematically assessed throughout the real estate investment process. Engage with clients delivering leading edge net zero carbon service encompassing both operational and embodied carbon, utilising proprietary sustainability software, SIERA, to measure and manage energy and carbon impacts within global client property portfolios.
