Yetunde Abdul is Interim Programmes Director at the World Green Building Council (WorldGBC), and a Chartered Environmentalist with over 20 years’ experience in climate resilience and sustainability in the built environment.
Yetunde oversees the strategy and delivery of WorldGBC’s global programmes, bringing them together through the Building the Transition programme. Her areas of specialism include climate resilience, sustainability, circularity and innovation, and the wider transformation of the built environment.
Yetunde has worked across engineering, environmental consultancy, property, standards, policy and government. She is passionate about turning ambition into practical action, and bringing people together to find solutions that work for nature, the built environment and the communities it serves.
Yetunde enjoys discovering new places, variations of yoga, good food and the occasional escape into the great outdoors. She is also a firm believer that some of the best ideas can emerge over a good conversation.
