Nazly Asadollahpour is the Sustainability Director at Majid Al Futtaim-Holding, where she leads the Group’s sustainability and ESG strategy both internally and externally. With over Seventeen years of experience in sustainable real estate, sustainable finance, ESG, and corporate sustainability, Nazly’s focus is on driving a ‘Net positive’ sustainability strategy across the group’s diverse operating companies.

Nazly began her journey with Majid Al Futtaim in 2016 as the Senior Sustainability Manager for Majid Al Futtaim-Properties, contributing significantly to sustainable real estate practices across the properties. Transitioning to the Corporate Sustainability team in 2018, she took on the role of overseeing Majid Al Futtaim’s ESG rating and became a subject matter expert in ESG reporting company-wide. In collaboration with the treasury team, Nazly led the successful implementation of the Majid Al Futtaim Green Sukuk & Sustainability Linked Loan through multiple rounds.

Before joining Majid Al Futtaim, Nazly held key roles as a Principal Sustainability Engineer in Ramboll Middle East and a Senior Sustainability Engineer in Ramboll UK. She is recognized as one of the pioneering sustainability professionals in the UAE, holding accreditations such as WELL AP, BRE Academy Fellow, BREEAM Assessor and AP, Estidama PQP, LEED AP (Operation and Maintenance, New Construction, Neighbourhood, Homes), GSAS CGP, SAP Energy Assessor, among others. Nazly has also completed notable courses including Business Sustainability Management and Supply Chain Management by Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), as well as Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy by MIT.

Nazly holds a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering from the Technical University of Budapest and a master’s degree in Architecture from Kingston University.
