ASSA ABLOY becomes Partner of World Green Building Council’s Europe Regional Network

ASSA ABLOY has today become an official Regional Partner of the World Green Building Council’s Europe Regional Network.

ASSA ABLOY, the largest global supplier of intelligent lock and security solutions, has joined Europe’s largest sustainable building network as its latest partner, to collaborate on driving sustainability and innovation across Europe’s building sector.

WorldGBC’s Europe Regional Network represents a community of 24 Green Building Councils (GBCs), 8 Regional Partners and over 5,000 company members who cooperate closely to support the growth of the sustainable building movement in Europe.

In 2017 the Europe Regional Network and its partners will be heavily focused on supporting the European Commission in finalizing and launching a central piece of EU sustainable building assessment policy. This ‘framework’ of core performance indicators is anticipated to form the basis of future sustainable building policy in the region.
