Membership of the World Green Building Council has surpassed 75 countries, as two new Green Building Councils have joined the organisation.

Chile Green Building Council has joined as an Emerging member and Rwanda Green Building Organization has joined at the Prospective member level, taking the total number of member Green Building Councils to 76 – the highest in WorldGBC’s 15 year history.

The new member Green Building Councils were approved at the WorldGBC Board of Directors meeting in London, eariler this month.

Two Green Building Councils were also promoted to Established member status at the meeting – congratulations to Green Building Council Costa Rica and Sustentabilidad para Mexico AC (Mexico Green Building Council).
