International Cargo Terminal Pvt. Ltd. had undertaken the mission of creating “Globicon Terminals” as a NET ZERO Warehouse which had not only help in mitigating the overall environmental impacts, but also provide improved performance & reduced operational & maintenance costs while keeping in line with its Environmental Goals which they have successfully achieved by being India’s 1st IGBC Net Zero Energy Buildings Platinum rated. Globicon Terminals has also achieved Green Factory Platinum certified building in May 2018, a testament to its green concepts and techniques in the project which help to address national priorities like handling consumer waste, water efficiency, reduction in use of fossil fuels, energy efficiency and conserving natural resources etc. The energy efficiency of the project alone helped cut the monthly lighting cost to one fourth of its estimated cost. This integrated, holistic approach encourages positive impact on building’s life-cycle, including design, construction, and operation and decommissioning.
