Tell us your story

Habitat Lab is Saint-Gobain’s training centre and showroom in Milan.

This laboratory is the highest rated LEED Platinum building in Italy, responsible for developing and monitoring new, sustainable building solutions and techniques, as well as a state-of-the-art training venue for construction professionals.

Highlights and challenges

The Habitat Lab was created by converting a 1950s cafeteria and adding a new build extension. This resulted in a high-performing, sustainable space, which is used both as an impressive training centre and a showroom for the MULTI COMFORT programme. The project achieved CARE4 certification, and was certified by the Green Building Council as LEED Platinum status.
