The Elithis Danube Tower was considered as the World’s 1st “No Energy Invoice” housing tower at standard cost of construction. To design this tower, we had to think out of the borders of the norms, regulation and standard of certification, against ideology of doubt and skepticism, in a transdisciplinary approach between the users and every different stakeholder of the project. In this context, the engineer has to become an explorer much more than a calculator. That is the way of thinking we have to adopt to go beyond the limits and create an effective “No Energy Invoice” Housing Tower at standard cost of construction.
