The Green Building Alliance, Ghana is a non-profit organisation dedicated to transforming the country’s built environment by promoting resource-efficient, healthy and socially inclusive buildings and communities. Established in 2024 with roots in the Ghana Green Building Summit founded in 2017, the Alliance unites stakeholders, partners and communities to drive policy change, build capacity and deliver practical sustainability solutions. Our mission is clear – to promote environmentally friendly, resource-efficient and cost-effective spaces that enhance the health, comfort and well-being for all. We provide thought leadership and advocacy, professional and student training with a focus on EDGE building certification, sustainable project consulting across energy, water, materials and waste, energy audits and retrofits, ESG, as well as market research and insights. We believe in Ghana’s potential to shape a greener future with lasting impact for the nation and beyond.
