Green Building Council Zimbabwe is devoted to the sustainability of Zimbabwe’s built environment by imparting transformational standards to Zimbabwe’s construction industry, real estate consultancy and sharing practical built-environment insights with communities. Working closely with our strategic stakeholders, we are committed to the establishment of an environmentally friendly, futuristic, and cost-effective built environment ecosystem in Zimbabwe and beyond.
Our developmental philosophy is anchored on mutually beneficial strategic collaborations with the Government, private sector, industry associations, development partners, and academia to educate, and attract the nation towards embracing green building standards in our construction environment. We also seek to empower relevant institutions with tangible tools for the growth and development of green buildings in Zimbabwe, including green building standards, certifications and ratings, continuous learning and development, environmental sustainability innovations, and the promotion of community-based green building initiatives.
