Amira Ayoub is Regional Head for World Green Building Council’s (WorldGBC) Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Amira leads the organisation’s vision in the MENA region and is passionate about fostering communities. She believes communities have the potential to create a sustainable and resilient built environment for all. Amira is a regenerative practitioner architect and an advocate for holistic solutions. She combines her leadership and practical knowledge to help teams identify comprehensive solutions that embrace a living systems approach for the wellbeing of people and nature.
Amira served as an ambassador for the International Living Future Institute, promoting its programmes for more than six years in the MENA region. She also worked as a sustainability consultant on various green projects, successfully incorporating energy efficient, healthy, and biophilic design principles. She has combined her passions to start her own business, KAWN.
When Amira isn’t working she enjoys moments with her children, family, and friends.
