Google

Google LLC is an American multinational technology company that specialises in Internet-related services and products, which include online advertising technologies, search engine, cloud computing, software, and hardware.

Google has a longstanding commitment to climate action and environmental stewardship. Sustainability has been a core value since Google’s founding, and we strive to build sustainability into everything we do. In 2018, we achieved twelve consecutive years of carbon neutrality and, for the second year in a row, matched 100% of the electricity consumption of our global operations with renewable energy. We also announced our long term goal to power our operations with carbon-free energy, 24×7, 365 days a year.

In the years to come, we’ll focus on how Google can accelerate the transition toward carbon-free energy and a circular economy, empower everyone with technology that enables sustainable action, and benefit the communities where we operate. Google remains steadfast in its commitment to sustainability, and we will continue to look for collaborative partnerships and innovative opportunities to help create a clean and healthy planet for everyone.
