Brigit Gerritse is the CEO of the Dutch Green Building Council (DGBC).
Brigit holds a degree in Urban Planning from the University of Amsterdam and has over 30 years of experience in the real estate sector. Previously, she served as Head of Research & Strategy at Redevco, she was also Executive Director of the international knowledge platform Urban Land Institute and was the director of Kern, a Dutch expertise and networking centre focused on urban centres and neighbourhoods. During that time, she also served as Program Manager for the Retail Agenda, an initiative of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. Gerritse has been involved with DGBC in the past as a participant in the “Deltaplan Sustainable Renovation” Leadership Group.
