Dr. Éva Hegedűs is the Secretary General of the Hungary Green Building Council (HuGBC) since April 2023. She is responsible for the operative direction, and strategic and financial planning of the GBC. She works with the GBC’s Board members, the 152 professional members, and with the Europe Regional Network of the WorldGBC.
Dr. Éva Hegedűs is an economist, she received her doctoral degree in finance from the University Of Economics. She has over 40 years of management experience in an international environment in various industry fields as a country manager, CEO, and business development manager. Éva is an experienced lecturer with over twenty years of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience. She also worked as a university assistant professor. Éva has extensive experience in crisis management, screening and evaluating companies and developing business growth. She gained a strong leadership competence as a senior management consultant and by providing leadership coaching on several occasions.
She believes that all problems can be solved if you have the right expertise and a responsible and humble attitude. She is a stable support to her colleagues in all aspects. Éva finds it very inspiring to work towards a more sustainable future in the construction industry.
