Giulia is our Senior Project Manager for Europe.
In her role, Giulia works on steering impactful initiatives across climate action, green building promotion, and circular economy solutions. She provides technical and thought leadership, working on enhancing our project pipeline, collaborating with stakeholders and representing the organisation at European events.
With a background in project management and innovation, Giulia has led several Horizon 2020 projects, centred on smart cities, smart grids, renewable energy and sustainable islands. Giulia holds a PhD in Facilities Management where she studied how to implement sustainable measures in existing buildings with the support of Building Information Modelling (BIM).
She joined WorldGBC with the desire to be part of meaningful change, dedicating her time and skills to initiatives that make a significant difference in the world. Recently Giulia has discovered a passion for crocheting and embroidery, creating handmade gifts for special occasions. She also plays the cello and has a passion for manatees and their gentle nature.
