Sam is the Climate Action Officer at World Green Building Council (WorldGBC).
In this role, he supports the Advancing Net Zero global programme, helps coordinate and facilitate various global and regional activities and engages with our global network of Green Building Councils. Sam maintains project administration tasks, provides marketing and communications support and assists with other project related activities, including the Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment.
Previously, Sam worked at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in Paris working in renewable energy and finance and co-led a social enterprise for three years, tackling food waste and food poverty. Sam has a degree in Geography with Business from the University of Nottingham and a Master’s degree in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
In his spare time, you’ll find Sam watching his favourite team Arsenal, cooking (and eating) and practising French.
