Alongside our global advocacy work, we convene Green Building Councils and leaders at a regional level to discuss specific policy opportunities and challenges faced in different parts of the world.
Much of our regional work has historically been anchored in Europe, with a European Policy Task Force who advocate for greater climate ambition in EU buildings policy. We are now expanding this approach with the launch of the Africa Manifesto by our Africa Regional Network. Central to our advocacy is calling for policies that address the energy efficiency of buildings, whilst also considering the emissions across the whole life cycle of a building.
