1. Commit

Commit to achieving net zero operational emissions by 2030. Achieve maximum reductions of embodied carbon for new development and major renovations, and compensate for any remaining residual upfront embodied emissions by 2030, if applicable. 

2. Disclose

Measure and publicly disclose all annual energy consumption and whole-life carbon emissions generated from their tenancies around the world, following the GHG Protocol.

3. Act

Colliers will procure renewable energy for all locations to reduce operational carbon emissions, drive energy efficiency and electrification in their occupied spaces via green lease clauses upon renewal, and offset any remaining residual emissions.

4. Verify

Verify energy consumption and whole-life carbon emissions data (as appropriate) via their annual Global Impact Report. The report will be validated by an independent third party, following the ISAE 3000 standard.

5. Advocate

As part of Colliers’ Science-Based Target to reduce Scope 3 emissions by 51% by 2030, they present net zero pathways to managed property clients, covering over 2 billion square feet worldwide.
