Commit to only occupying assets that are net-zero carbon in operation (scope 1, 2 and 3) by 2030 while reducing scope 3 emissions as far as feasible. Where applicable, commit to maximising embodied carbon reductions and compensating for residual upfront embodied emissions at major renovations of existing assets by 2030.
Measure and publicly disclose energy consumption and emissions data from operations and make public through annual CSR reporting and their website. Monitor and disclose whole life embodied carbon emissions where applicable.
Develop a decarbonisation roadmap to improve occupied building performance prioritising scope 1 efficiency measures and engage with landlords and supply chains to influence scope 2 and 3 procurement thus reducing the requirement for offsets.
Verify energy consumption and carbon emissions data through our Environmental Management Systems certified to ISO 14001, with verification of data by an independent third party to PAS 2060.
Facilitate the transformation of the wider industry by advocating that clients pursue net zero carbon buildings, sharing knowledge to enable them to achieve it, and encouraging them to make their own Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment.
